Join us for close-contact archery or firearm bear hunts!
Chase Creek Outfitters offers two options for our unforgettable Wisconsin black bear hunts. We offer 5-day hunts that are either fully guided or more self-guided. All of our bear hunts take place over bait in Zone A and begin east of Phillips, WI in Price County. We offer our hunters relaxed accommodations on beautiful Musser Lake. Please read more below to learn about inclusions in our two different styles of WI black bear hunts.
In addition to our black bear hunts, we also love guiding Eastern turkey hunts in Zone 7 and Wisconsin wolf hunts in Zones 1, 2, and 3.
5-Day WI Black Bear Hunts
Chase Creek Outfitters offers a fully-guided, full-service WI black bear hunt. Our full-service bear hunts are $2400. If you’d like to include six days of lakeside lodging, add $350 to the total price.
Full-Service Wisconsin Black Bear Hunt Inclusions:
- Daily trips into & out of our bear hunting properties and stands led by your hunting guide
- One guide for every two bear hunters
- Well-established active baits that are baited daily
- Trail camera monitored bear bait sites
- Properly placed, high-quality tree stands and ground blinds
- Game retrieval and field care
- Onsite walk-in cooler to ensure hide and carcass are properly cared for
- Freezing of hide and meat
- Professional and courteous Wisconsin hunting guides
- Quartering of bear for transport home
- Professional hide preparation by an experienced and licensed taxidermist
- Assistance with bear registration
In addition to our fully-guided hunts, Chase Creek Outfitters also offers a more self-reliant 5-day WI black bear hunt. Our Light-Service bear hunts are $2,000.00 per hunter (minimum group size of 2). Add six days of lakeside lodging for $350 per hunter.
Light-Service Wisconsin Black Bear Hunt Inclusions:
- The option of two different active and well-established bear bait sites
- You’ll provide all in field transportation
- You’ll provide and set up your tree stands or ground blinds
- You’ll be responsible for baiting your own bear stand site (bait provided)
- Assistance with game retrieval
- General advice and assistance from our Wisconsin bear hunting guides
- Skinning & hide preparation available by a professional taxidermist for $70
- Freezer/walk in cooler space available for hide and meat at $10/day
Booking a Hunt with Chase Creek Outfitters:
All hunts will be considered confirmed when your completed hunt contract and liability release form is received along with a 50% deposit. Once your deposit is received, confirmation of your hunt dates as well as a receipt for your deposit will be promptly mailed to you. The balance of your hunt cost is due on arrival to camp in either cash or certified funds.
Cancellation Policy:
Please plan carefully as deposits are non-refundable. However, if you find it necessary to cancel your hunt no less than five months prior to your hunt a reasonable effort will be made to book a replacement. Should a replacement be found, you will receive a full refund less a 25% administrative charge. Any cancellations within 60 days of your hunt date will result in the cost of the full price of the hunt.
Possible Fuel Surcharge:
We reserve the right to add a ‘fuel surcharge’ (cap of $100) to cover extreme rises in fuel prices between your booking & hunting dates. If exercised the surcharge is due with final payment.
Wounded Game Policy:
We work hard to manage our animal populations to provide high-quality hunting opportunities into the future. We want our hunters take responsible shots on beautiful animals. If you draw blood on a game animal – your hunt is necessarily considered complete. We make every effort to track & recover wounded game animals.
